The Anglesey Arms prides itself in being a traditional country local with a separate dining room, providing a warm welcome to all its customers, whether they are here for a quick drink or an a la carte meal. Too many country pubs have become "restaurantised", losing their roots as a centre of local life. We endeavour to be the best of both worlds - a great pub with great food! With your drinks we offer handcut sandwiches, ploughman's with unpasteurised cheese, local sausages, and other traditional pubgrub or you could sample some of the delicious offerings from our à la carte menu. |

As befits a country pub, traditional handpumped ales are our best sellers. Four pumps draw a varied selection of ales from a cellar below the old floorboards of the bar. People travel to taste our renowned quality beers. We are of course recommended by CAMRA's Good Beer Guide. In addition there is cider and an excellent range of lagers, minerals, spirits and liqueurs together with an extensive wine list. |
